Hold Vintage Fall 2012 Women’s Wear Collection

Fall is here, and I was so excited to put together this collection for my trunk show at Vintage Heart Coffee!  So much so, that I thought I’d share it here.  After some encouragement by my sis to style outfits rather than just present these items on their own, I found myself thrilled to discover that this creative push really brought together what felt like a true collection.

With an influence based on street style fashion (Stockholm Street Style was a particular influence) and a base of textural black, the colors carnelian and yellow emerged as highlights.  Sophisticated fabrics such as Italian wools and North Beach leathers give it a luxe feel, sequins and embroidery make it just so unique, and the overall effect is a bohemian girl who likes the shapes of the 70s and 80s but in a subtle way, with what I hope is a playful and intellectual feel.
